EDM Challenge #78 - Souvenir

Sharks creep me out! I once came face to face with three very large sharks while snorkeling along the coral reef of Ant Atoll off Pohnpei (Micronesia). So, I bought this souvenir from an artisan in Kapingamarangi Village to commemorate my survival (it has real sharks teeth in it). Ok, ok, they told me that the sharks don't bite people there but I'm not convinced they told the sharks that!

Hehe D, your comments crack me up. I felt just that, pink and helpless. When I looked for the boat as soon as I saw the sharks, it had already floated too far away. Instead of swimming for it, I tried to stop my heart from pounding outta my body. They smell fear, you know. LOL.

Hi Joan! thanks for your comment on my artwork tonite. Looks like you have mastered graphite. The piece I did for Illustration Friday was done in graphite pencil, too. I am never bored as long as I have a pencil in my hand, you know? I really like your realistic style. I am going to create a link from my blog to yours. Have a good night. -kate : )

Thanks Kathleen, Tracy, and Mariana!
Kathleen - I'm most comfortable with graphite. It must have been those years of schoolwork! I'd love to link yours as well.
Tracy - Your words really warmed my heart. Thanks.
M - Glad you're back gurl! I miss my daily doses of your drawings! Thanks!
