10 min sketch

A 10-min quickie of my blown out boot ... Time for a new one. I would have added the date if I knew what date it was ... at least I know it's October!

    Kate ... heh. Yeah, it blew out as I walked over lava. I had to tie a rope cut from my fatigues and duct tape that my friend had in his pack! I made it out to the truck after 2 hrs of hiking with nary a problem.

    Teri ... Yes! That reminds me, I should do that today. :)

    strangely enough i was putting out some trash and realized these little flats i was wearing had a similar problem (the sole was coming off!) - darn... my fav run around little black flats.
    and don't worry bout the date - its so nice how blogger remembers for you!
