Get lost! (Everyday Matters Challenge #139: Draw something with a handle)

Tonight, I got lost in this drawing. I used my Pigma Micron 005 so it took a little longer than usual but it was a nice distraction. I might work on it some more later but I'll stop for now.

  1. Wonderful!! I am using my Micron 005 pen, too! I love this drawing, Joan. I am glad you have finally put your "toilet issues" aside and have had a chance to draw tonite.

  2. Don't you love the 005?!? Yes, I was very glad to put my toilet issues aside so I could relax and draw. I still need to replace the floorboards. So, when are you coming over to help me?

  3. Love me some .005! (I wish they did the .005 in Sepia, too. The "brown" is way too reddish.) And this drawing? Awesome!

  4. Ryan, I know what you mean about Pigma browns. Hooray for .005s!

D, Thanks! Oh, I know what you mean about bending tips. I did that with my first pen and so have to be more careful. It usually takes my abuse these days.

I haven't visited your blog in too long - and love the recent entries - especially the beautiful earthy colors of your leaf debris! Thanks for sharing.

  14. I am fascinated by the shadows you create with your cross-hatching...and the structure of the drawing subject translates so well. Impressive.
