Rainbow Falls
Rainbow Falls is our local attraction and on a sunny day, a rainbow can be seen emerging from its depths. Legends say Hina, the mother of the demigod Maui, lives in the cave behind the waterfall. I tried out my new Prismacolor pencils with this first drawing. I love the soft lead ... but I gotta admit, I got a little carried away and muddied the drawing. Oh well, it's all a learning process.

Cool work! ...reminds me of a swimming hole I frequented as a youngster.
Thanks Anon! We swam in the pools above this waterfall when we were younger. Ah, wonderful memories!
