Mistake masterpiece

I am still learning ... and still making mistakes. I posted a snippet of this painting a little earlier to hide my embarrassing mistakes with perspective and probably a few other things. But I'm sharing this entire painting as a lesson to myself that developing skill involves trying, making mistakes, and improving. There's no embarrassment in that! : )

Where in Chicago? I live in Chicago, and I can't recall the location of this statue off the top of my head.

Your watercolor is beautiful, by the way!

I'm not sure what mistakes you are talking about Joan. I think it looks fantastic and you should be proud!!

Thanks everyone! You all made me feel much better.

No Way ... Yes! There is an incredible statue of Abraham Lincoln just one block south of the Chicago Art Institute. It is worth a visit, fer sure.

What mistakes?? I appreciate the feeling of stature you have accomplished. The emotion in a piece is often more important than accuracy of line, don't you think? but I still cant see anything standing out as 'wrong'.
