This is a mataki or charm that I picked up at a shop in Greece. It is supposed to ward off the evil eye and it must work cuz I haven't seen one recently.

Thanks Mellanie and Serena! I bought it in Tinos, an island off the mainland. Fellow Flickr artist Oursoula from Athens says mataki means "little eye" in Greek. :)
Very cool! I like your use of color -- it is a bit reminiscent of Laura's (at Laurelines) work.
