Drawing on Nature: Art for Sale, Day 1 (2020 Volcano Village Artist's Hui)

WELCOME TO 2020! Thank you so much for stopping by to check out my art at this weekend's Volcano Village Artists Hui Art Sale! As expected, 2020 has been full of challenges and changes that none of us expected. In that vein of unexpected changes, I'd like to share with you my original artcards that I've done recently (and not so recently). These capture scenes from around the islands, including native Hawaiian bird and plant species. Artcards are tiny pieces of art that are only 2.5" x 3.5" ... the size of a baseball card. They are shipped using a thick protective plastic sleeve, or, if you wish, I can mat and frame them as well for an additional cost of $30. See pricing at the bottom of each image. Check out an example of a framed piece, below. While the art is small, when framed, it is a piece that definitely stands out.

I hope you're not too disappointed that I do not have as many oil paintings that I would usually have available at the Art Hui sale but please know that there will be many opportunities to buy original Hawaiʻi and Volcano-themed oil paintings throughout the year (so sign up to receive notifications)!

HOW TO BUY ... All pieces are available on a first come, first served basis. Send me an email at joanyoshioka[at]gmail[dot]com and let me know which painting or drawing you'd like, indicating the ID number and title of the work and provide a phone number. I will notify you via email if the work is still available (I'll mark the image as "pending" if someone has requested it). After we decide how you'd like to receive the piece, I will send you a PayPal invoice via email. Once the work is paid for, I'll ship it to you within 5 days. For oil paintings, expect delivery within 2-3 weeks to allow for dry time.

Each giclee print is presented in an acid-free mat with an acid-free foam core backer board so they're ready for any standard-sized frame.

Prices range from $35 (for 5x7 frames) to $55 for (11x14 frames)
