Like a spring of water

"The Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your soul in drought. And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden. And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail." Isaiah 58:11

As I was flipping through my college scrapbook tonight, I came across a page of quotes that I compiled that had helped me get through the tough spots on the journey to adulthood. This quote seemed particularly appropriate tonight so I drew my interpretation of it.

Yep, Joan. This is right on. Did you then draw this from your head?

Thanks Ryan ... I imagined sitting next to the stream and just thinking. :) If you look carefully, you can see my butt mark in the grass (kidding).

Anita ... Thanks. I have lots of these scenes in my head. It's really interesting that they are rarely from here. I am the product of television's Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom.

France ... Yeah, pretty much. I had seen a picture earlier and I think that triggered this memory. I feel closer to God when I'm in places like this.

Very beautiful! You certainly seem to know and understand nature and are able to put it on paper so well.

Serena .. Thanks for your wonderful comments and your continued support! You are awesome.

Kate ... Thanks. I spend a lot of time sitting in nature and taking it all in. So, it is not too difficult to pick an image from my brain. I have a lot of them stored up there.

Thanks for your comments! I guess somehow I managed to squeeze some creativity out of all the stress! :) Your drawings are still as beautiful as ever. I love the flowers in this one that pinkish color caught my eye right away.
