Day 10 of 21: Speak no evil ...
Kate did a great drawing awhile back, which was one of a series for "hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil", which inspired this drawing. I thought it would be a good reminder for myself. Plus, I had to redeem myself after that last spooky drawing! This is a tribute to Garth Williams, the illustrator of my favorite childhood book by Margaret Wise Brown (The Whispering Rabbit and Other Stories). He also illustrated Charlotte's Web, the Little House on the Prairie series, and others. I adore his style and I think I subconsciously incorporated his style into my drawings. I remember staring at his illustrations as a child, having fun discovering the details in each. Still, I find characters in his drawings that I've never seen before! I still read the book, now 40-something years later! Now that's longevity!

Oh, this is adorable Joan. I love the yellow sky and the colors you chose for the bunnies. Has a nostalgic feel to it.
You are very perceptive Kate! I was just reading my favorite book by Margaret Wise Brown with illustrations by my favorite Garth Williams. I LOVE Garth's drawings and wanted to pay him a tribute in my own way.
I love this illustration. It is so adorable
So, so cute! I love it. Reminds me of the bunny family that lives in my yard. They make me happy every time I go outside.
Very different from the speak no evil artwork I seen in the market, very creative with the bunny.
I am in my 40th too, and I love going to kids section look at all the pictures books!
very cute!
