"Daily drawings and paintings by Joan Yoshioka"
This lone heliconia flower was the last of the season in my heliconia patch. After seeing how intricate and beautiful they are, I feel badly that I left them neglected in the corner of my lot. I'm making a point to weed and thin them tomorrow.

Thanks D,
Are the tags also the label? Do I put the tags on the Technorati site? I'm slowly learning this stuff so I really appreciate the suggestion.
Joan this is gorgeous, I love the composition, never mind the delicate touch with the colours and lines.
Perfection!
I love big tropicals. Is this in our botanical art Flickr album???

It is fabulous Joan!
Thanks Marianan, Serena and Cynthia. This is the first that I've done in color pencil. It has it's challenges but I had a fun time of it. And yes, Cynthia, I've added this one to our Fickr album. Thanks all for visiting!
