Moly_x_9: She's gonna blow! (Day 6 of 21)

I'm finally finished with my first 4.5 panels for the Moleskine 9 Exchange! It's ready for its maiden voyage around the US, with its first stop with Laura of Laurelines. This Japanese accordion moleskine will travel from Hawaii all the way to North Carolina. That's a lot of miles! 4,667 miles, to be exact! If you wanna see a closeup and the spread, check out our joint moly_x_9 blog. While you're there, check out my teammate's drawings. They are wicked!

A little "bonus track" on the inside cover ...
Hiya 21 Creative Exercise buddies! I think this will have to be my day 6 post. I'm all drawn out! *wink*

Wow, Joan, that is gorgeous. Is that watercolor and ink? Love the "panoramic" style.

Yes Kate. Moleskine paper takes watercolor, but only if I'm patient. I used my Pigma Micron 01 pen.

Joan, this is so lovely! I am speachless.

Thanks Jennifer and Susan! It took me a bit of time to figure out how to draw in an accordion-style moleskine. It kept flying out to flutter in the wind! You wouldn't imagine such a little thing would have so many pages! Thank goodness they are easy to fold back up!

Joan, this is too awesome for words! what an incredible challenge this must be to participate in! My friend gave me a moleskine watercolor book and after seeing this, I just have to try working on a moleskine now!

This is such a great idea. How does someone get involved in this? BTW, i like your idea of doing this as a panoramic. Maybe its not really your idea, but I'll give you credit cause its the first one i've seen.
