Travel Sketches

Here is my last installment of my travel sketches. As you can imagine, I was busy with wedding festivities in NC and didn't have much time to draw ...

But, I leave you with these images of my trip that reflect feelings of excitement, boredom, exhaustion, and also wide-eyed wonder. I had fun!

Great stuff. I found planes are much more difficult than they seem. Nice cross-hatching too here. Thanks for sharing your adventures.

Tracy ... Whoa, VA is next door! Yes, next time I am in your neck of the woods, I'll give a holler!

Steve ... Planes ARE hard! I wonder why. I never could get the perspectives right. If you find the trick, will you let me know?

Teri ... Thanks! Yes, very nice memories.

Anita ... Hey, thanks much! I had a lot of time to kill.

Kate ... Mahalo and also thanks for helping me pack! I was warm enough thanks to you.

The perspective on that foreshortened plane - wow! Those are so darn hard to draw and you nailed it!
