I suspect all you women are cringing at this drawing. The stirrups were not extended yet although it would have been great if the speculum was out ... I think that would have been cool to draw.
I drew this in "the room" waiting for my doc this morning. Thankfully, I didn't have to wait too long and didn't have time to draw the sink and napkin dispenser. I finished the drawing at home.

Eeeeewww! You crack me up! I do not even know if I would have "gotten" this right away if you had not said what it was. The plastic covering on the lamp sort of creeps me out. What do they think is going to happen to their lamp??? LOL! HA!
Oh! Brrrr -- i feel cold just thinking of this room. Very nice details (especially the napkin-ish material on the 'cushion').

I got it from the lamp and the q-tip on the tray...YIKES. Great sketch though! At least you didn't have to wait all day!

Yeah Joan -- you know these silly paper clothes you have to wear, bare-a**ed, while patiently waiting and doodling... i heard someone say once they are like medical coverage: they leave you with the misleading impression of being fully covered, but of course... you're not. :-)
Teri - I dread having to do it ... but going thru nursing school, made me realize how important they are. I just grin and bear it. LOL.
