"Daily drawings and paintings by Joan Yoshioka"
Ok, I've been benched. It's been a long day. It's dark out and it's raining. So, what do I do when I'm stuck indoors? Draw my vacuum cleaner!
This vacuum sucks! I mean in a good way. It takes care of all my doggie dirt like a Bissell ought to.

What a challenging subject, never thought of sketching my hoover before.
You did great!
very cool! like the composition of the pages very much!
You are so funny!! I love how you composed this cleaner. And did such a great job on drawing it!
I am in love with my vacuum cleaner, too! It is the 'Dyson for pets'. Really does a nice job. : )
Love the portrait of the object of your desire, Joan!
Anita - You should draw your Hoover!
Karen - The composition, admittedly, was an artifact. I started drawing and ran out of room. Then, I realized, I could keep going on the previous page!
Teri - Hehe. Thanks!
D - Aw, thanks. :)
Kate - LOL, but it doesn't do my dishes!
Love how you did this!! I'm inspired to try something similar, though mine isn't quite as attractive.
pretty vacuum (why does that sound odd? LOL) - lovely drawing miss
Thanks Steve! I look forward to your interpretation! :)
Thanks Tracy. I must admit, my vacuum is very pretty ... albeit monstrous!
I love this crazy composition--it's really fun and has such personality!
I actually wondered if you'd run out of room and carried it onto the previous page....nice job too!! It reminds me that I really need to invest in a quality vacuum cleaner....of course, I'd much rather spend money on art supplies. I HATE housework! lol
Love the composition and color on this!
