I had so much fun playing tour guide for you! Why is it that we so often overlook the best things to do in our own cities? It was like a mini vacation of sorts having you here, Jo!
The bottom pic is my fave. Love the complimentary colors and the misty lighting.

The photos are so familiar (I spend the summers in Wisconsin, neighbor to the north).

Sounds like you had a wonderful time! I visited Chicago a few years back and thought it was a really fun city! Your sketch and photos are great... but my fave is the second from the top... those fall leaves are soooo dreamy! I LOVE it!!!
