"Daily drawings and paintings by Joan Yoshioka"
I broke down and got myself a drill! I used to have one of those dinky battery-charged ones but it was wimpy! With this one, I can rev that engine and do some serious work! :)

AWESOMELY DONE!!! BRAVA!
I just loooooove this! It feels friendly yet magical, the way Thor's Hammer is magical.
Found you by wandering, and I've lost the thread of how I got here -- but your stuff's quite nice.
Another excellent drawing, brilliant.
Very great drawing, Joan. I can tell you love that drill. Actually I have a drill, too, which I happen to love using. What is it about power tools....?
Thanks Lin! So nice for you to visit! :)
Lori - I kinda think of my drill as magical ... it does wonders!
M - :) Thanks much!
Kate - I DO love my drill! And I DO love my power tools!
Fantastic rendering...Enjoy your new toy!
LOL Anita - I am, I really am. I've been enjoying making holes in everything. I hope to build myself a closet so it will come in handy this weekend!
gorgeous drawing joan! maybe i should get a drill ... i have pictures lined up around the house ready to hang, but my husb is working crazy hours. nah ... i still think i'd be afraid to put a hole in the wall.
Thanks Karen! Once you get one of those babies in your hands, I think you'll be hooked on power tools and your husband will have to pry them out of your hands. LOL!
don't make too many holes :-)
i can see wanting some power tools! and why do i love this kind of drawing? its just lovely.
WOW!!! Great detail!
I've got to say it again -- this is an amazing sketch. Pigma Micron... which size do you use, Joan? How big is a drawing like this?
Hi France, thanks! I used a 01 size and the drawing itself is in my sketchbook that is 15cmX21cm ... I drew to the edge of the page so the sketch itself is that big. :)
I think this one is really amazing! And thank u and I will b sure 2 let u know if I find a blog gaudier than mine!
~Ashley~
