EDM Challenge #51 - TV and favorite show
"Flower: Dedicated dominant female of Whiskers, Flower's no pushover. In her four years as the dominant meerkat, Flower has proved herself to be one of the most successful leaders at the Manor."
It is possible for me to sit through episodes after episode of Meerkat Manor, on Animal Planet. What will happen to Flower's pups? Will the dangit arched rival, the Luzuli, attack again? The suspense kills me!

Oh you must catch Meerkat Manor. It reminds me of those old Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom shows. It can be anthropomorphic at times but since it's based on long-term research, I think it's really well done. Thanks for all your comments on my drawing!
Meerkat Manor is a wonderful series.....sad, at times. My kids watched it every week when it was screening last year. I caught snippets of it while washing up dinner dishes. Your illustration is just perfect!
Btw, I haven't forgotten about doing my 8 facts....I will be doing them very, very soon.....promise ;)
This is fabulous Jo!! Apart from being so cute, its's so well drawn too. Is this a British programme? We had a series some time back about meercats and the main character was called Flower. And that's my cats name too!! All round cute!

Oh, I love Meerkat Manor, too! When my kids were younger we watched all the time, and I'm hooked. When I went to the doctor's office and they were weighing me, I was looking around and right above my head was a poster of Flower. I laughed and the doctor said I'm the only adult patient she has that knows what the poster is. I don't know if that's good or bad. Who cares! This is a wonderful sketch! Great work!
