EDM Challenge #18 - View from a window (almost done)

Hmmm, not quite sure how to finish this one. Anyone have suggestions?

The empty middle area BEGS to be a center of interest! Hmmm....Looks like there is already a little cat in the foreground....perhaps you place yourself in the empty space, stretched ut on the ground, drawing in your sketchbook as you look out at the foliage. Just an idea. That would make it even more personal.

BTW, this is very very beautiful! I am envious!

Thanks Kathleen - I think that's a great suggestion. I was thinking what I really need is for you to finish it for me! :)

Hey Juj - Thanks. I'm kinda excited about finishing it because there are lots of ideas in my head. It's like a movie and I don't know the ending! :)

What a wonderful, sensitive drawing. That 'empty vee' really makes you look at that which is above it... I think the composition is great. From where I sit, if it were mine, I'd leave the middle area as is and anchor the lower left side a bit more, taking the drawing off the edge of the paper...

Just lovely work!

Thanks Anita!

Hi Diane, thanks! I see what you mean. Anchoring the left side will surely make the drawing more concrete. Thanks for the tips.

Wow Joan, I wouldn't dare attempt to suggest anything, it's incredible already and I know you'll finish it up so it's even more spectacular!

Hi Mariana, I'm going to let this one simmer for a bit and finish it up in a few days when I'm not so crazy busy. Thanks for stopping by ... means a lot to me. Have a great weekend! :)

What a great drawing - I'm very tempted to say 'less is more' and suggest you leave it as it is and play around with some crops before framing it.

Joan....initially to ME it sort of looked like the middle would be sand ...with maybe some wispy tufts of grass...then afer reading the other comments I tried to picture a small pool or lounge made out of cane or reeds...now I'm back to sand.....I can't wait to see what YOU see!....deni...)

Hey Katherine, Andrea, and Deni! Thanks! Thanks also for the great suggestions. I'll have to do a big unveiling after I finish this one. I hope it won't be too disappointing! I'm a little nervous now. LOL.
