"Daily drawings and paintings by Joan Yoshioka"
It was just nice to get out of the house and adventure around town this morning. After imbibing way too much coffee at home and appeasing my vice for more Pigma micron pens at my local art store, I spent a little bit of time sketching Wailuku River Bridge, coloring it in watercolor at home.

Great job! I love it.
What a beautiful scene. I've just spent ages wandering through your old posts enjoying all your beautiful drawings, Joan. I can't decide which I like best, the botanicals or your beautiful graphite objects.
This is so serene and beautiful....wish I could hop in a jet and come for a visit!
Thanks Tracy - I live a couple miles from the ocean and our town has a lot of rivers running through it so it can be pretty picturesque.
Thanks Brian! I've been enjoying your blog too!
Hi Robyn. Thanks for visiting. Your dogs are very cute I might add. Been enjoying your works too!
Hi Kathleen! LOL. I think you would love it here. Lots of things to draw and slightly more oceanfront than Chicago *wink*.
This is beautiful Joan! Makes me wish I was there.
